We were delighted to be invited to participate in Shrewsbury School’s virtual music competition, which allowed up to four entries per school. Our selected musicians were Karen (piano) and Raphie (singing) for the junior class, and Frank (alto saxophone) and Sebastian (piano) for the senior class – each submitted a video of themselves performing one piece, to be judged externally by the broadcaster Katie Derham.
It was exciting to hear the news that Karen had been awarded first place in the junior class, and Frank second place/highly commended in the senior class, chosen from a very strong group of entrants from prep schools across the country. Very well done to all!
