Admissions Process - Joining Us

Packwood welcomes applications from pupils aged 4 to 13. Places are available all year round for day and boarding pupils from a variety of social, economic and cultural backgrounds.

We recommend arranging a visit or attending an Open Morning to get a real feel for Packwood. If this is of interest to you, please complete our enquiry form which can be found on this page.

If you would like to register your child for Packwood, please download and print the Registration Form and return to the Head of Admissions at admissions@packwood-haugh.co.uk together with the £50 registration fee. This will register your interest and you will then be contacted the year prior to entry to confirm your interest.

Guaranteeing a place

We would expect you to guarantee the place you have registered for your child in the House of your choice by completing the final entry form 22 months (or more) prior to entry. A deposit is also required, which is 10% of a term’s fee.

For families whose normal residence is outside the UK, there is an additional deposit which is 90% of the current fee for one term.

You would of course be most welcome to visit the School again before making this final commitment.

Scholarships are also available for Music, Art, Sport, Drama, Design & Technology and All-Round ability and are open to candidates from all schools.

The Deposit

The deposit is refunded if pupils fail to pass our entrance exam or are withdrawn on academic grounds before then. Otherwise the deposit is held until your child leaves Packwood, when it is returned after deduction of the final term’s extras.
