Packwood Award

The Packwood Award is our bespoke Outdoor Skills and Leadership Programme.

It is fantastic to see our wonderful grounds come to life on Thursday afternoons as all pupils take part in a range of activities and challenges. Our partnership with the John Muir Award might see them carry out conservation work around the extensive school grounds or further afield across the county.

They might learn about nature by taking part in Packwood Spring Watch or enjoy putting their creative skills to the test with Wild Art. They will prepare for an adventure in Snowdonia by learning camp craft such as cooking on Trangia cooking stoves.

Bridging the gap between Forest School in Acorns and the Duke of Edinburgh Award in senior schools, the Packwood Award sees pupils complete Bronze, Silver and Gold levels, building key skills such as confidence and resilience, whilst developing a love and respect for the great outdoors.

We love the ethos, facilities and the happy environment. Finding out what makes each child 'tick' and supporting them accordingly.
