Packwood Acorns and Year 3 learn about hedgehog conservation

Today Acorns and Year 3 had a visit from Cuan Wildlife Rescue. Cuan Wildlife Rescue look after lots of different animals but today they were here to tell us all about hedgehogs! We found out lots of interesting things about hedgehogs including what they should and should not eat, how to support hedgehogs in your garden and what you should do if you see a poorly hedgehog. We got to look at a model garden and discussed all the places you might find hedgehogs. At the end of the talk the children got to see and touch a hedgehog that is currently under care at Cuan Wildlife Rescue.
