Packwood was founded in Hockley Heath in Warwickshire in September 1892. The school’s original home was requisitioned by the RAF early in the Second World War and so Packwood moved to Ruyton XI Towns in 1940.
To celebrate our 125th anniversary, there were a series of special events over the course of the 2017-18 academic year involving pupils, members of staff, parents, Old Packwoodians and friends of the school and an on-going fundraising effort towards the 125 Appeal.

The appeal was launched in 2017 to raise funds to upgrade the facilities for teaching Science at Packwood. Science is now an essential core element of the modern curriculum and top grades are regularly awarded at both Scholarship and Common Entrance level. Many pupils have gone on to excel in the Sciences at their senior schools and universities. We would be delighted if you would like to support this important project.
