Memories of summer 2017

Packwood’s summer term drew to a close in typically busy fashion with the traditional end of year festivities taken place during the last week.

On Monday, Year 7s enjoyed preparing and performing a Play in a Day under the professional direction of a visitor from Konflux theatre company, and the Under 12 cricket team won a convincing victory in the Bunbury Cup final. Tuesday saw the whole school take part in our fantastic Outdoor Learning Day, apart from the choristers who were on an away day to Worcester – part fun, part work as they sang Evensong in Worcester Cathedral. The noisiest event in the school calendar, the Sixes swimming relays, took place on Wednesday and then on Thursday, we had the second noisiest – the much-anticipated school disco and barbecue.

However, it was Friday morning when the whole term was encapsulated brilliantly in our final assembly – and specifically in the Summer 2017 video produced by graduate assistant, Nathalie Kelk. Enjoy!
