125 Events at Packwood

Packwood was founded in Hockley Heath in Warwickshire in September 1892. The school’s original home was requisitioned by the RAF early in the Second World War and so Packwood moved to Ruyton XI Towns in 1940.

To celebrate our 125th anniversary, we have planned a series of events for the year September 2017 to June 2018 and we warmly invite former and current pupils and parents, members of the local community in Ruyton XI Towns and all those who are or have been part of Packwood to attend.

Our 125 events are listed below. Please click on an event to find out more.

The 125 Appeal

To mark our anniversary, we are launching an appeal to raise funds to upgrade the facilities for teaching Science at the school. Science is now an essential core element of the modern curriculum and top grades are regularly awarded at both Scholarship and Common Entrance level. Many pupils have gone on to excel in the Sciences at their senior schools and universities.

Now is the time to upgrade the laboratories and our aim is to raise at least £125,000. We hope that you will acknowledge the importance of this project, and give it your support. Please click here for more details of how you can help.
