Packwood’s 7H celebrated the school’s fourth win in five years at the annual Malvern Debating competition yesterday. All of the class took part in a range of games and workshops alongside a series of inter-school debates. Our most successful side was made up of Francia B, Lucy M, Cai H and Tom W.
In the final against The Downs, Malvern they successfully proposed that all pupils should wear school uniform. Cai H impressed in particular with his sharp and articulate rebuttal of the opposition’s points. Old Packwoodian Eliott Gilling-Smith helped preside over the competition with a team of Malvern sixth formers.
